A maize starch-manufacturing residue for animal-feed enquiries. State species/use, protein basis, nutrient and contaminant limits, treatment status, packing and destination feed approvals before quotation.
DGFT places HS 23031000 under residues of starch manufacture and similar residues. Treat this as an animal-feed material enquiry, separate from food-grade corn starch, maize flour and corn gluten feed unless the exact identity is documented.
Record the maize wet-milling or starch process, meal versus feed terminology, product form and any carriers, additives or post-processing treatment.
State protein on the agreed moisture basis, moisture, fat, fibre, ash, optional amino-acid or energy fields, plus mycotoxin, microbiological and contaminant limits.
The importer must verify feed-material listing, establishment registration, GMO requirements, health documents, labelling and animal-species restrictions.
Inclusion rate and nutritional suitability belong to the buyer's qualified formulator; this page does not prescribe use for any animal species.
Check the current DGFT export schedule and destination feed law; the EU feed-material catalogue is available in Commission Regulation (EU) No 68/2013. Define the lot with the purchase specification guide. For food inputs, use the separate corn starch or maize flour pages.
