Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
JFT Agro Overseas LLP ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our export services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us through our Request for Quote (RFQ) forms, newsletter signups, and contact requests. This may include:
- Name and Company Name
- Contact Information (Email, Phone, WhatsApp)
- Import/Export Requirements and Port of Destination
- Business VAT/Tax IDs (if provided for documentation)
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is primarily used to facilitate international trade operations. We use it to:
- Prepare custom Proforma Invoices (PI) and quotes.
- Manage shipping logistics and documentation.
- Send trade insights and product price updates (if opted-in).
- Comply with DGFT and Customs regulations in India.
3. Data Protection and Service Providers
We do not sell business contact data. Inquiry details are processed by our form-delivery provider, Web3Forms, and may be shared with authorized logistics, inspection, banking, or customs partners only when needed to prepare or perform an export contract. We apply data-minimization and access-control principles to inquiries from all markets, including the European Union.
Unconverted website inquiries are reviewed for deletion after 24 months. Contract, tax, customs, and payment records may be retained for the longer period required by applicable law.
4. Legal Bases and International Processing
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process inquiry data to take steps requested before a contract, perform a contract, meet legal obligations, and pursue the legitimate interest of responding to genuine business inquiries. Optional analytics and marketing communications rely on consent where required. Because our company and service providers may operate outside your country, business contact data may be processed internationally subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Analytics is optional. Google Analytics loads only after you select "Accept & Continue" in the cookie banner. Selecting "Essential Only" prevents analytics from loading. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can reopen Cookie Preferences from the footer at any time or clear the choice through your browser's site-data controls.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning business contact data you submitted, subject to identity verification and legal record-retention requirements. You may withdraw analytics or marketing consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Newsletter recipients may unsubscribe at any time by contacting the trade desk. You may also complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location.
7. Security and Children's Data
We use access controls, HTTPS transport, data minimization and service-provider controls appropriate to the nature of business inquiries. No internet transmission is risk-free. This website and our export services are intended for business representatives and are not directed to children.
8. Controller and Contact
JFT Agro Overseas LLP is the controller of inquiry data submitted through this website. Registered business contact: APMC Market, Phase II, Sector 19, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. For privacy questions, consent withdrawal, complaints or data requests, contact jftagro.info@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request".
