Indian Agro Exporter
to Europe
Basmati rice, spices and specialty commodities prepared for a named EU, Great Britain or Northern Ireland destination through separate legal, laboratory and document checks. CIS countries require their own country brief.
A Compliance File Built for
Buyer Approval
The product, destination, intended use and buyer specification determine the laboratory panel and document set. Nothing is treated as universally compliant without reviewing the contracted limits.
EU & UK Compliance Controls
We Plan Per Shipment
The buyer's specification and destination rules define the required controls. Great Britain and the EU must be checked separately: HSE notes that GB MRLs and EU MRLs may diverge, while EU rules continue to apply in Northern Ireland. The following items are scoped and documented before shipment:
Pesticide MRL Scope
Check the current EU MRL database or GB MRL register for the destination. Agree the commodity mapping, residue definition, analyte list, sampling method and laboratory before testing.
Management & Food Safety
Current supplier and facility certificates relevant to the order are shared for buyer review. Certification scope and validity should be checked before contracting.
Organic Orders
Organic status is never assumed. The approved product, operator scope, transaction documents and destination recognition are verified before an organic offer is issued.
Basmati Identity & Traceability
Variety, origin and traceability evidence are agreed to the buyer's import and retail requirements. Additional authenticity testing can be included in the contract.
Source check โ 20 August 2026: EU import controls are risk-based and updated as risks change. EU and GB pesticide limits must be checked in their separate current registers; Northern Ireland remains on the EU route for these controls.

European Destination Planning
Name the country, customs territory, discharge port and final delivery point. The buyer and broker must confirm the applicable import route; the carrier must confirm the actual sailing and terminal acceptance.
Verify the Shipment Plan
Before payment, match the destination customs territory, importer, product classification, current MRL panel, increased-control status, approved sample, specification, inspection scope, documents and carrier route. Use the document guide and COA guide.
